Are you interested in being baptized? Let us know:

  • Baptism is a public demonstration of our faith in Jesus. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus commands his church to make disciples and to baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • Baptism does not save you or give you any special favor from God. It is an act of obedience meant to demonstrate your faith in Jesus to the world.

  • You’ll find different understandings and practices of baptism across various Christian traditions. At Redeemer, we practice believers baptism by immersion. That means that we baptized those who have made a profession of faith in Jesus following their conversion. We do so by immersion to represent the symbol described in Romans 6:4. The act of immersion and raising the believer from the water symbolizes that person’s burial with Christ (meaning their death to sin and self) and their being raised to new life in Him.
